The Alpine foothills tumble down into the Veneto in North-Eastern Italy. It’s here you’ll find Breganze – a tiny town in the hills which is the epicentre of the miniscule Breganze DOC, where the focus is on quality above all else. In fact, it’s so small that the region’s 700 growers have formed a single cooperative – a family of families – Beato Bartolomeo Breganze. They make so little of this delicious rosé that Majestic buys everything they make. It’s incredibly bright and fruity with really delicate flavours. Peach. Apricot. Raspberry. A fruit salad in a glass, with pretty floral aromas. It’s so drinkable we think it’s the ideal party wine – but it’s also delicious with light salads.
